Wendy Nolasco
Interim District Supervisor
Wendy Nolasco serves as the Interim District Supervisor and is focused on the target of more and growing leaders together on mission. The supervisor will champion the recruitment, development and sending of leaders through our missiology and identity.
Grace Kladnik
Associate Supervisor
Grace Kladnik serves as an Associate Supervisor with the primary responsibility of the target of more and growing leaders together on mission and works in collaboration, partnership and support of the supervisor.
Grace Kladnik was most recently the co-lead pastor of Vintage Faith Culver City in Los Angeles with her husband, Matt. She has served in the past as a youth pastor, church-planter and missionary to Australia. Her heart to equip and release women led Grace to start a training program called She Leads. Grace focuses on pastoring the community beyond the church walls; she helped launch a thrift store, coffee shop, pop-up pantry and creative space that serve their community every day of the week. Grace and Matt have three young daughters.
Mark Slomka
Associate Supervisor
Mark Slomka serves as an Associate Supervisor with the primary responsibility of the target of more and growing leaders together on mission and works in collaboration, partnership and support of the supervisor.
Prior to becoming a pastor, in his formative years, Mark appeared on the Mickey Mouse Club, was raised with Rin Tin Tin and learned to play guitar from Stephen Stills, Jackson Browne and James Taylor. These days Mark’s ministry priorities are kingdom saturation, influence and multiplication. He has over 20 years of experience as a pastor, and he and his wife, Carol, once lived in England, where they focused on charismatic church renewal and evangelism. The Slomkas have four daughters and two grandchildren.
Tim Russell
Associate Supervisor
Tim Russell serves as Associate Supervisor with the primary responsibility of the target of more and growing leaders together on mission and works in collaboration, partnership and support of the supervisor.
With more than 30 years in ministry, Tim Russell most recently served as lead pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship (Hayward Foursquare Church) in Hayward, Calif., for five years. Tim is passionate about helping individuals find and walk in their designed purpose, which led him to serve as program director for Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, a small business incubator in California. Tim is the author of Conquer or Be Conquered and is working on a book titled Rising From the Ruins. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Charles Mason Bible College. Tim and his wife, Vanessa, have seven children, five who are grown and two teenagers at home.
Leland Rounds
District Administrator
Leland Rounds focuses on the implementation and exercise of administrative processes that simplify administration and maximize ministry for the district.
Leland previously served as district administrator for the North Pacific District of The Foursquare Church. He has served Foursquare churches in some capacity for nearly 20 years, including time as the senior pastor of Whatcom Foursquare Church (Bellingham Foursquare Church) in Bellingham, Wash. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Northwest University and also attended Life Pacific University. Leland and his wife, Ashley, have two children.
Karnel Watkins
Administrative Support
Karnel Watkins focuses on the implementation and exercise of administrative processes that maximize ministry, serves as the first impression of the district office and helps the district staff provide the best care possible for our district pastors and churches.
Karnel is a licensed Foursquare minister; she and her husband, Gregory, planted Sweetwater Church in Chatsworth, Calif., in 2020. She previously served as assisting minister at Freedom Church (San Fernando Valley Freedom Foursquare Church) for 10 years, in roles such as children’s ministry director, pastoral care director and Freedom Bible College coordinator. Karnel has a passion for seeing lives transformed as well as caring for pastors and those in ministry. She and Gregory have three sons.
Lisa Wykes
Administrative Clerk
Lisa Wykes provides clerical support and data entry in support of the team’s administrative processes.
Lisa grew up in the church as a pastor’s kid and has been in leadership for 17 years. She became licensed in The Foursquare Church in 2014 and ordained in 2016. In her many years of ministry, she has worked as a children’s minister, women’s pastor and assistant pastor. Lisa served as assistant pastor of Sonoita Foursquare Church from 2014-2018, and she currently serves as outreach and prayer pastor at The Springs (The Springs Church Chandler Inc.) in Chandler, Ariz. She and her husband, Howard, have been married for more than 25 years and have two daughters.
Brittany Johnstone
District Communications + Events Coordinator
Brittany Johnstone supports the district in partnership with the Communications Team by leading, developing and facilitating all district communications as well as planning and managing events of varying sizes and purposes.
Brittany has served Foursquare in a variety of roles since attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She served as NextGen representative and events coordinator for the Pacific Southwest District. Her passions are cultivating spaces for people to encounter Jesus and helping others find their calling. Brittany is an associate pastor at Abundant Life Church (Menifee Foursquare Church) in Menifee, Calif. She and her husband, Colton, have two children.
Johanna Oddo
District Mission Mobilizer
Johanna Oddo is responsible to serve as a bridge between local churches, districts, shared mission, and global mission to the nations near and far, focusing on recruitment, mobilization and collaboration.
Johanna served the Pacific Southwest District of The Foursquare Church as district missions representative. Working with Foursquare Missions International and Foursquare Disaster Relief has given her a passion for developing, connecting and encouraging individuals to step into missions opportunities both here and abroad. She also currently ministers alongside her husband, Ryan, who is senior pastor of The Bridge O.C. (Rancho Santa Margarita South Foursquare Church). A gifted networker, Johanna loves identifying and releasing leaders, planting churches and leading global missions teams. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University, and she and Ryan have two sons.
Jennifer Thigpenn
Multiethnic Ministry Coordinator
Jennifer Thigpenn is responsible for the identification, recruitment and development of the immigrant and non-majority culture churches and leaders within a district’s geography.
Jennifer is a pastor, preacher and teacher who is passionate about seeing people love God and love their neighbors well. She has served in a variety of ministry roles including NextGen and administration, and was most recently interim senior pastor at The Oasis (Panorama Full Gospel Foursquare Church) in Mission Hills, Calif. She earned a bachelor’s in music from Azusa Pacific University and a master’s in divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. In Fall 2021, Jennifer will join the faculty of Life Pacific University as an adjunct professor.
Natalie Werking
NextGen Coordinator
Natalie Werking is responsible for supporting the District Supervisor in partnership with the National Nextgen Coordinator, in the overall resourcing and leadership of this district’s local church NextGen ministries.
Natalie is passionate about seeing people of all ages growing in a very personal relationship with the Lord. In addition to her work with NextGen, she is the director of the Children’s Gospel Box ministry at Foursquare Missions Press. Her hope is to equip and resource people around the world to reach and disciple young people. Natalie holds a degree in nursing and has served Foursquare NextGen and missions for 13 years.
